Organising your files
Note: This set of tutorials is primarily aimed at those of you who will make exercises by uploading txt files
Click me to download the file!

Part 1 - Download the library.zip file and create a “Library” folder containing the example exercises.

Part 2 - A look at the way we organise our files.

Part 3 - a key to the 3 letter codes we use for the exercises.

Part 4 - a key to the 3 letter codes we use for languages.

The library.zip file you will download contains one or two examples of each of the different types of OLEM exercises. We also take this opportunity to give you our suggestion for organising your work. We will show you how we name and organise our files. If you would like to do things in a different way then that is completely up to you. It is not important for OLEM how you name or organise your files - only that you can find them! We compare this situation to finding information in a library.

Feel free to change the information in the text files and experiment with different languages, pictures and sounds. Look in the Assets Manager to see what graphics and sounds are already available. You can also upload your own graphics and sounds via the Assets manager (see Tutorial 9).
